Global Read Aloud

Today we began our Global Read Aloud project. We are reading the book, Out of My Mind by Sharon Draper. To help us understand the main character, Melody, we wrote down words that express thoughts, feelings, and expressions on pieces of paper. The pieces of paper were then placed inside of a ballon where they were "stuck" for the day. The students were unable to say what was inside the balloon.
